This container desiccant is highly effective for protecting cargo during rail, ocean, or air shipments, preventing moisture-related damage. It is also ideal for use in marine vessels (such as boats and yachts) as well as RVs, providing assurance that your food and belongings will remain undamaged despite adverse weather conditions.
(1) Container Inspection Guidelines:
Ensure the container is dry, clean, airtight, and suitable for shipping goods.
Verify that the container is free from any damages: close the container door and check for any "obvious light leakage" from the inside. Inspect the container walls, top, and bottom for cracks or holes.
Ensure the container door can be tightly closed and that the rubber seal is in good condition.
The wooden boards inside the container should be dry, clean, and without any visible signs of moisture stains.
(2) Wooden Floor Moisture Check:
It is recommended to avoid using containers with wooden floors that have a humidity level exceeding 20%. If it is unavoidable, increase the amount of container desiccant accordingly. For every 1.5% increase in humidity, add 1 kg of desiccant.
Do not use containers with wooden floors that have a humidity level exceeding 25%.
